Stepping into the role of a pastor's wife has been one of the most challenging things I have ever done. It may even top parenthood. And I have continued to go back to the Mahaney's writings and messages for encouragement. Up to this point, they have probably been one of, if not the, most influential couples in this time of transition for me. And I have never even met them.

Dave's in Israel right now so Ellie and I are making it on our own. During this time she has perfected "da". I correct her many times and say "ma," but she only responds back with "da". Stubborn girl.
